PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press switch, equipped with an overload current protecting function surely obtaining safety in the use of electric power by completely cutting the electric conduction at a conductive piece, when the current is an over load current. SOLUTION: The press button switch comprises a switch body 4, at least two pieces of wiring pieces 43, 44, and an operation bar 6. The switch body 4 is empty and a key button 41 is formed on the upper part of the switch body. A spring member 412 is mounted at the bottom part of the key button 41, and a sliding groove 7 is formed at the backside inner wall of the switch body where, a free part at the top end of a conductive piece 5 is bounded. The slide groove is formed so that a plurality of slide trucks with a shape of curved arch cross each other. The position, and a sliding of the fixed position of the operation bar 6 switching the conductive piece 5, are controlled by the sliding groove 7, shaped similar to figure of \'8\', and housed inside the switch body 4.
