To provide a press-to-press transferring device, which is provided with a counter-balance mechanism for applying upward counter-balance force to a lift carriage, and in which excess or shortage of the counter-balance force is not generated even if a feed carriage is moved in a transferring direction and the center of gravity of the lifting and moving body is changed, and whose energy efficiency is kept high even if reciprocation due to sudden acceleration or deceleration is repeated.
A press-to-press transferring device 10 transfers a work 1 from the upstream side to the downstream side, and is provided with a lift carriage 12, a feed carriage 14, a to-be-transferred work holding mechanism 16, a counter-balance mechanism 18, and a pressure adjuster 20. The pressure adjuster 20 increases the pressure in a reserve tank 18b located in the moving side (the advancing direction of the feed carriage) and decreases the pressure in a reserve tank 18b located in the opposite side, by movement of the feed carriage 12.
