This apparatus is provided with: a crank mechanism connected to the rear end sides of a pair of superposed feed bar and clamp bar; and a pair of servomotors for controlling the rotation angle of the crank mechanism, and is composed of: a plurality of clamp hands H1-H3 for folding a fed workpiece and conveying to each die is provided successively every certain intervals on the clamp bar; holding pawls which are extended to the side of one side from the clamp bar; a pawl opening and closing mechanism which is housed in a housing on the upside of the clam bar and by which the opening and closing motion of the holding pawls and advancing and retreating motion in the direction of extension are performed; a working shafts DS which are engaged with this pawl opening and closing mechanism and extended to the outside of the housing by crossing orthogonally with the conveying direction of the clamp bar; and a working frame 24 with which the working shafts DS connected to a working frame 24 which is arranged side by side by being offset to the other side face of the clamp bar are moved forward and backward through converting mechanisms 14a, 14b for converting the relative reciprocative linear movement of the feed bar and the clamp bar.
