Abstract:
To provide a pressing device and a pressing method capable of efficiently forming fine through-holes, and a manufacturing method of a filter for a liquid jetting head.
The pressing device 55 includes a punching roller 56 having a plurality of punches 63 protruding on the peripheral surface and an elastic mat 57 whose surface opposed to the punching roller is composed of an elastic material. With a metal plate member 51 placed on the elastic mat, the punching roller is rotated while being relatively pressed to the metal plate member so as to allow the punches to be driven into the metal plate member, thereby forming through-holes 52.
