Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press apparatus that can reduce or eliminate failure in pressing.SOLUTION: The disclosed press apparatus includes: a die body 111; a pressing member 112; a first support mechanism 113; a punch 121; and a blank holder 122. The die body 111 includes: a first protrusion 111a having a first hold-down surface 111p; and a recess 111b adjacent to a shoulder portion 111s of the protrusion 111a. The pressing member 112 having a second hold-down surface 112p and a shoulder portion 112s is disposed opposite the recess 111b across the first hold-down surface 111p. The first support mechanism 113 supporting the pressing member 112 can extend and compress in a pressing direction. The punch 121 being opposed to the die body 111 in the pressing direction has a second protrusion 121a corresponding to the recess 111b. The blank holder 122 is opposed to both hold-down surfaces 111p, 112p in the pressing direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
