Abstract:
To detect abnormality due to clutch or brake disc wear with simple configuration.SOLUTION: A press device 1 comprises: an eccentric shaft 16 which advances and retracts a slide 18 in a press direction in association with rotation thereof; a brake 132 which causes a brake disc Db2, which is connected to the eccentric shaft 16, and a brake disc Db1, which is opposite thereto, to approach and separate from each other, and brakes the eccentric shaft 16; a rotation amount measuring instrument 35 which measures a rotation angle of the eccentric shaft 16; and a control part 53. The control part 53 measures a slip angle θ of the brake 132 after an operation start command for the brake 132 is outputted until two brake discs Db1, Db2 synchronize on the basis of the rotation angle measured by the rotation amount measuring instrument 35, and determines that abnormality occurs in the brake 132 when the slip angle θ exceeds a prescribed threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
