To provide a pressing machine of which the stroke can be changed with a simple method, and a method for producing a bevel gear.

The pressing machine is constituted so that one side of end surface of a columnar or a cylinder is divided into the mutually same number of sections 10a-10g, 17a-17g along the peripheral direction, so that respective sections are formed to have congruent figure and the lowest sections are formed as the criterion sections 10g, 17g, and a first member 10 and a second member 11 whose heights of respective sections are higher by the same heights from the criterion sections 10g, 17g, in order, are arranged so as to face each other, and the stroke at the pressing time is adjusted by rotating one side of the first member 10 and the second member 11 to the other side.
