Abstract:
To provide a press machine that can perform both of sheet metal press molding and resin press molding while having a simple structure, and is superior in press accuracy, and provide a press method of a workpiece using the same.SOLUTION: A press machine A of the present invention includes an upper mold 11 and a lower mold 12 for pressing a workpiece, a slide 1 with the upper mold 11 mounted in a lower surface, a hydraulic device 2 connected to the slide 1, and a gear drive unit 3 connected to the hydraulic device 2. The hydraulic device 3 has a hydraulic cylinder 21 mounted to the gear drive unit 2, a hydraulic piston 22 mounted to the slide 1, and being slidable along an inner face of the hydraulic cylinder 21, a spacer part 5 mounted in the upper surface of the hydraulic piston 22, and a hydraulic servo motor M capable of controlling a position of the hydraulic piston 22 to the hydraulic cylinder 21 by making oil flow in/out of the hydraulic cylinder 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
