Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing method and a press for production of many kinds in small quantities which is precise, rapid and highly safe.
SOLUTION: This press has a navigation display device 40 comprising a display change information storing means which can store the display change information on a plurality of fitted dies 15, a navigation display unit 50 (each navigation display 51) which is visually arranged from the front side in a condition corresponding to each die, a present navigation display die specifying control means to specify the die for the present navigation display before a slide 14 is lowered, and a navigation display control means which navigation-displays the navigation display 51 corresponding to a specified die, and a plurality of pressing stages using a plurality of dies which are navigation-change displayed on the same die can be achieved only by successively setting a work in a die 15 corresponding to the navigation-displayed navigation display 51 by an operator standing in the front.
