To improve the yield of material by eliminating a feed bridge in a pressing method sequentially progressing plural pressings containing bending.
A slit 3 is formed on the boundary surface on a metallic blank 1 constituting a unit product and this boundary surface is separated and also, a prescribed size of a gap 3a in this slit 3 is set and thereafter, the bending to the metallic blank 1 is executed. By this method, even in the case of developing breakage surface on the cutting surface at the time of forming the slit, thereafter, in the case of executing the bending, the gap 3a surely exists in the interval of mutual breakage surface to prevent interference (rubbing) in the interval of the mutual breakage surface. In this result, since the development of burr cutting powder, etc., caused by the interference in the interval of the mutual breakage surface at the time of bending, can surely be prevented, the feed bridge can be eliminated and the yield of the material can drastically be improved.
