To provide a pressing-type switch device with a snap action mechanism for stably switching conduction states between a fixed contact and a movable contact.
A snap action mechanism (5) has: a conductor plate (8) one end side of which is supported to a common contact terminal (31) at a first rotation fulcrum (A) and which is provided with a movable contact (6); a drive plate (7) one end side of which is engaged at a second rotation fulcrum (B) on the other end side of the conductor plate (8); and a compression spring (9) one end side of which is engaged at a third rotation fulcrum (C) on the other end side of the drive plate (7) and the other end side of which is engaged into a fixed base (22) at a fourth rotation fulcrum (D). The snap action mechanism rotates the drive plate (7) by using a fifth rotation fulcrum (E) as a rotation fulcrum in accordance with a pressing operation to an operation member (4), and moves the second rotation fulcrum (B).
