To prevent crack and buckling of a terminal barrel part at pressure contacting by a pressure contact pallet which has a groove for inserting a stabilizer of the terminal having a stabilizer.
A pallet P1 having a cavity 1 and a groove 2 for inserting a stabilizer is divided into a bottom half 3 to the position covering all the terminal 20 barrel part 22 when the cavity 1 is inserted with terminal 20s and the remaining part 4 as they can slide in the width direction through a dovetail groove and thus a sliding part 3 and a base part 4 are constituted. When the terminal 20s is inserted, the sliding part 3 is adjusted so that the groove 2 may be in linear line and, after insertion of terminal 20s, the sliding part 3 is made to slide so that there may be no groove 2 at the bottom side of the cavity 1 (upper side of slide part 3) in the sliding part 3 area. By this arrangement as all of the bottom side of the barrel part 22 is supported by a surface without any groove 2, there appear no crack and buckling even if a pressure contact blade is applied on the barrel 22.
