Title:
PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE IN MOUNTING BUSH FOR SHOCK ABSORBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6050012
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a change in the vehicle attitude due to the antilift of acceleration by shifting the center of the upper support attachment to a forward position at the time of the vehicle acceleration so that the castor angle of the vehicle may be made smaller.

CONSTITUTION: When the throttle valve is rotated for acceleration at a rate greater than a preset value, first through fourth solenoid valves 11, 12, 17, 18 are activated, and in accordance with a true value map, fluid is supplied into a rear hollow vessel 6b of an upper support to raise the pressure therein, while the fluid is drained from a front hollow vessel 6a to reduce the pressure therein. Therefore, the center O of the upper support attachment shifts to a forward position to reduce the castor angle. Then, the solenoid valves 12, 18 are deactivated to close the rear hollow vessel 6b at a high pressure and to close the front hollow vessel 6a at a low pressure so that the castor angle may be maintained to be small. In this manner, a change in the vehicle attitude at the time of acceleration can be reduced.
