To provide a pressure control unit which can transfer pressure to a pressure measuring instrument by adjusting pressure to be measured to the pressure suitable for measurement and improves safety, and a pressure measuring instrument with a simple structure.
The pressure control unit includes a cylinder unit 2 and a piston unit 3, the cylinder unit 2 includes a thin shell 21 and a thick shell 22, and the piston unit 3 includes a plunger 32, first watertight means 30 fitted closely into the thin shell 21 and second watertight means 31 fitted closely into the thick shell 22. A space from the first watertight means 30 to a free edge of the thin shell 21 is formed as a first pressure chamber 23, and a space from the second watertight means 31 to a free edge of the thick shell 22 is formed as a second pressure chamber 25, respectively. The pressure control unit can adjust pressure introduced from either the first pressure chamber 23 or the second pressure chamber 25 to pressure suitable for measurement to transfer the adjusted pressure to the other pressure chamber.
