Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure control valve capable of suppressing tilting of a valving element when the valving element is seated on a valve seat, to thereby effectively close a valve port.SOLUTION: A valving element 4 has a flat surface 4B on its leading end. In a sleeve 3 provided within a casing 1, a valve seat 3C for seating the valving element 4 is provided on a portion opposed to the flat surface 4B of the valving element 4. The valve seat 3C has a flat surface 3F to be brought into contact with the flat surface 4B of the valving element 4 when the valving element 4 is seated on the valve seat 3C. Consequently, tilting of the valving element 4 due to a slide clearance between an inner peripheral surface 3A of the sleeve 3 and an outer peripheral surface 4A of the valving element 4 when the valving element 4 is seated on the valve seat 3C, can be suppressed, and a valve port 1E can be effectively closed.
