Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a spherical valve body from vibrating in a diameter direction of a valve seat and thus producing strange noise during pressure control in which the spherical valve body opens in a pressure control valve.SOLUTION: A pressure control valve which controls pressure in a fuel passage 28 for transmitting discharge fuel of a fuel pump P to a fuel injection valve I of an engine to a predetermined value, and comprises: a high pressure port 37 which communicates with the fuel passage 28 or a pressure control passage 35 communicating with the fuel passage 28; a valve seat 42 which communicates with the high pressure port 37 via a conical valve seat 38, and is opened to a low pressure part; a spherical valve body 39 which is accommodated in the valve seat 42, and opens and closes the high pressure port 37 in cooperation with the valve seat 38; and a pressure control spring 40 which energizes the spherical valve body 39 with a predetermined set load in a seating direction with the valve seat 38. A taper angle θ of the conical valve seat 38 is set to 20°-36°.
