Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the pressure of weft-insertion water to a level suitable for the kind of yarn and the weaving width.
CONSTITUTION: The main body 6 of a pressure pump 1 is provided with a water sucking and discharging channel 9 connected to an inlet port 7 and an ejection port 8. A branch opening 13 of a by-pass 12 to leak the pressurized water is opened on the side wall surface of the water sucking and discharging channel 9. A flow-control valve 14 is placed in the midway of the by-pass 12 and the lower end of the by-pass 12 is extended into the water in a constant level tank 15. A water pressure suitable for the kind of yarn and the weaving width is easily attained in the discharging stroke of the pressure pump 1.
