PURPOSE: To obtain a marked pressure feed injection furnace of simple constitution and low cost by providing a molten-metal supply unit with an inoculation unit and preheater and then by arranging an electrode in a molten-metal supply passage for direct current-feed heating.

CONSTITUTION: A fixed amount of molten metal 2 is supplied from running gate 15 into pouring basin 13 by a foundry ladle, etc., and power converter 20 supplies a fixed current to molten metal supply passage 11 through electrode 12 to hold molten metal in the supply passage at an adequate temperature. Next, pressure feed controller 18 applies pressure ΔP to molten metal 2 in pouring basin 13 to increase the pressure inside quantitative molten-metal container 3 in quantitative molten- metal supply unit 1. The inside of the above-mentioned molten-metal supply unit 1 is heated by preheating burner 6 and preheating controller 7 to prevent oxidation and cooling of the molten metal. Further, a fixed inoculation agent is supplied by inoculation-agent supply pipe 8 and its supply unit 9 and then switching stopper 4 is operated to supply a fixed amount of the molten metal into a mold.
