Abstract:
The present invention provides a pressure retaining valve which has excellent workability and safety when a structural member does not fly out due to an urging force of a spring and is disassembled. The spring chamber (50) is internally provided with an end plate (55) which cannot pass through the communication hole (54). A spring (40) is housed between the inner surface of the other end-side endwall (53) and the end plate (55). The other end (30b) of the valve rod (30) with the valve element (20) installed at one end (30a) abuts against or is connected with the end plate (55) through a communication hole (54) formed in the end wall (52) of one end side of the spring chamber (50) and an installation hole (16) formed in the valve box (10). As a result, the valve body (20) can be seated onthe seat surface (11a) of the communication port (11) provided in the valve housing (10). When the valve body (20) is seated on the valve closing of the seat surface (11a), the end plate (55) is disposed at a position in contact with or close to the inner surface of the one-end-side end wall (52) with a small gap therebetween, whereby the spring chamber (50) can be prevented from flying out even if the fastening between the valve housing (10) and the spring chamber (50) is released and the extension of the spring (40) is restricted.
