Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-insertion method of an encoder ring which prevents the lowering of detection accuracy by suppressing the deformation of the encoder ring caused by pressure-insertion, and is improved in reliability.SOLUTION: An encoder ring 12 is constituted of a support ring 13 which is attached to an inner ring 7, and formed into an annular shape, and a magnetic encoder 14 in which magnetic powder is mixed into an elastomer, and magnetic poles N, S are alternately magnetized at an equal distribution in a peripheral direction. The support ring 13 comprises: a cylindrical fitting part 13a which is formed of a steel plate, formed into an L-shape in a cross section, and pressure-inserted into an external peripheral face of the inner ring 7; an erecting plate part 13b extending to the inside of a radial direction from the fitting part 13a; and a salient part 13c which is formed by being superimposed on an end part of the fitting part 13a at an intersection between the erecting plate part 13b and the fitting part 13a. The magnetic encoder 14 is integrally joined to a side face of the erecting plate part 13b, and pressure-inserted in an axial direction in a state that a pressing face 27a of a pressure-insertion jig 27 abuts on a side face 19 of the salient part 13c of the support ring 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
