Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure intensifier capable of realizing energy saving with a simple structure, and a cylinder device including the same.SOLUTION: A pressure intensifier 10 constituting a cylinder device comprises a first piston 90 and a second piston 94 connected by a rod 96. A communication member 160 provided in the second piston 94 is configured to: when the second piston 94 is displaced in a direction where a pressure intensifying chamber 88a contracts, be displaceable from a communication position to a cutoff position by making the communication member 160 contact with a cylinder body 86; and when the second piston 94 is displaced in a direction where the pressure intensifying chamber 88a expands, be displaceable from the cutoff position to the communication position by making the communication member 160 contact with the cylinder body 86.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
