Abstract:
To prevent unwanted opening of a pressure limiting device during normal operation of a fuel pump by reducing a brief pressure peak generated in a force feed stroke of the fuel pump.
A piston 72 has a first collar 74, and the first collar 74 acts as a restrictor between a compensation chamber 82 and a high pressure fuel passage 42.
