To obtain a pressure measuring apparatus by which the failure of a bloodsream in its extracorporeal circulation and a drop in the blood pressure of a patient can be sensed quickly and which can comply with them at an early stage by a method wherein a pressure receiving part is arranged, via a thin membrane, in the upper part of a liquid flow passage and the pressure receiving part is connected to an amplifier or the like via a lead wire or the like.
A pressure receiving part 6 is arranged, via a thin membrane 5, in the upper part of a liquid flow passage 2c in a body 2. Then, an amplifier is connected to the pressure receiving part 6 via lead wires 7. Alternatively, a transmitter is connected to the pressure receiving part 6, and the pressure data signal of the pressure receiving part 6 is transmitted to an external reception part by radio by the transmitter. Alternatively, a connector in which a pressure sensor is arranged is mounted on the pressure receiving part 6 via a tubular body, and the amplifier is mounted on the connector. Alternatively, a pressure gage is connected to the pressure receiving part 6 via the tubular body and the connector. In addition, this pressure measuring apparatus 1 is constituted of a disposable part 1A and a pressure monitoring part 1B, and it can be used by being divided respectively. The disposable part 1A is a part which is thrown away after one use, and the pressure monitoring part 1B can be attached to, and removed from, the disposable part 1A so as to be used any number of times.
