Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure measuring method and apparatus thereof that can easily measure the capacity of the piping of an object to be inspected and eliminate the influence of a temperature change in the piping.
SOLUTION: The pressure measuring method connected to the piping supplying gas via a connection part 1 measures the internal pressure of the piping with a pressure sensor 4, which comprises a pressurization process pressurizing the inside of the piping with a pump 5 with retaining the piping at a blocked state, and a measurement process measuring the amount of a pressure change at a leaving state in the piping after ending of the pressurization process. The method measures the amount of a pressurizing change by pressurization process and the flow rate of the gas supplied to the inside of the piping when pressurizing, calculates the piping capacity at the blocked state based on the amount of the pressurizing change and the flow rate of the gas, and then calculates the amount of a gas leakage from the piping based on the piping capacity and the amount of the pressure change.
