Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of preventing a pressure value inside a common rail from overshooting or undershooting a target pressure value due to delay required for opening/closing of a pressure reducing valve.
A CPU 91 estimates a target achieving time for the CR pressure value to achieve the target pressure value based on the CR pressure value read when the CR pressure is boosted to reach the target pressure value and the rate of change in the CR pressure value. At the achievement of the time obtained by subtracting an open delay time from the estimated target achieving time, it turns on an open command signal and starts opening of the pressure reducing valve 7, thereby compensating the open delay time.
