Title:
PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE FOR WATER CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0742859
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable integral injection molding of an entire unit by securing a valve box main body to a blocking member by screws, the valve box main body having inlet and outlet connecting cylinders collectively provided therein and having a valve chest portion therein, the blocking member blocking the lower open end portion of the valve box main body.

CONSTITUTION: A pressure reducing valve opens or closes using the output valve portion 4 of a responding mechanism portion P a cylindrical valve chest portion according to secondary pressure from a valve box and the responding mechanism portion P, the valve box comprising a valve box main body 10 open on its upper and lower sides and having inlet and outlet connecting cylinders 1a and 1b collectively provided in the shell thereof, the response mechanism portion P being mounted on the upper open end portion of the valve box main body 10. In this case, a second flange 32 that is large enough to match the first flange 12 of the valve box main body 10 is projected near the inlet connecting cylinder 1a, and the valve chest portion is provided in connection with the inside end of the second flange to orthogonally intersect a cylinder 3, to form a cylinder unit U. The distance from the second flange 32 to the axis of the valve chest portion is equal to the distance from the center of the valve box main body 10 to the first flange 12 and both flanges 12, 32 are secured to each other by screws to couple the unit U and the main body 10 to each other.
