Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure regulator of a furnace-top charging apparatus in a blast furnace, capable of securing the differential pressure of a drive gas necessary for driving of an energy recovery unit and capable of sufficiently enhancing the pressure of a pressure control gas fed to the furnace-top charging apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided the pressure regulator 30 of a blast furnace-top charging apparatus 1 in which a raw material is charged from the blast furnace top into a blast furnace body 2. A blast furnace gas line 3 is connected to the blast furnace body 2, and turbine power equipment 5 for furnace-top pressure recovery is provided to the blast furnace gas line 3. The pressure regulator has a supercharger 53 comprising a turbine 54 in which a suction port 54a is communicated to the upstream side of turbine power equipment 5 in the blast furnace gas line 3 and a discharge port 54b is communicated to the downstream side of turbine power equipment 5 in the blast furnace gas line 3, and a compressor 55 which rotates together with the turbine 54 and pressurizes a pressure control gas to be fed to the blast furnace-top charging apparatus 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
