Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure relief device in which a pressure can be released rapidly upon automatic and rapid charging of gas and a pressure relief valve member can be replaced rapidly with another one and at a low cost.SOLUTION: A pressure relief device 1 including a valve seat 10 including a pressure chamber 100 having an opening and a first valve port 1000 at each of its top surface and its bottom surface and a gas discharging chamber 102 having a second valve port 1020 at its bottom surface; an elastic member 14 having a pressure relief valve 140 covering an opening 1002 and a first gas discharging open hole 142 communicated with the gas discharging chamber and positioned at the valve seat; a first valve 12a positioned in the pressure chamber to cover the first valve port; and an upper cover 16 positioned at the elastic member and having a first pressure relief port 160 and a second gas discharging open hole 162, and at least a part of the first pressure relief passage 144a is formed at the elastic member in such a way that the first pressure relief passage 144a communicates the valve port passage with the outside part of the valve seat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
