Abstract:

To make a second pressure ring of a pressure ring mounted piston easily separate away from a ring groove face to reduce oil consumption.

A pressure ring mounted piston 18 includes a top ring 34 which is a first pressure ring provided in a first ring groove 40 to be movable in a piston movement direction, and a second ring 36 which is a second pressure ring provided in a second ring groove 42 to be movable in the piston movement direction. A second end face of the second ring 36 is an end face of one side in an axial direction and faces to a crank chamber, and an opposite formation face is a ring groove face of the second ring groove 42 facing to the second end face. The opposite formation face has a convex or concave portion greater than the maximum depth of the surface roughness of the opposite formation face.
