Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title base which is thin-gage and highly moisture- resistant and can be torn with ease in the widthwise direction by fusing a polyester film to the warp of a textile base which is produced by using specified yarns each as the warp and the weft in a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape base provided with a synthetic resin film stuck to one surface of the textile base.

CONSTITUTION: A polyester film is fused to the warp of a textile base which is produced by using a polyester monofilament as the warp and a synthetic fiber filament yarn more heat-resistant than the warp, such as a polyester filament yarn, as the weft in a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape base provided with a synthetic resin film stuck to one surface of the textile base.
