To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape provided with a water-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side or both sides of a substrate.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape: is provided with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one side or both sides of the substrate, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed from a water-dispersed acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive including a copolymer emulsion obtained by emulsion-polymerizing in the presence of an emulsifier a monomer comprising as a main component an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 4-12C alkyl group and further a carboxyl group-containing monomer; and has an undercoating agent layer formed from an aqueous resin material between the substrate and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, wherein the contact angle of water on the surface of the undercoating agent layer is 0-90°. It is preferred that the undercoating agent layer is formed from an aqueous resin material having an oxazoline group or a carbodiimide group.
