Title:
PRESSURE SENSITIVE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003344185
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a pressure sensitive sensor for reducing a fluctuation of a characteristic of resistance versus a load and having a characteristic for smoothly changing electrical resistance in response to a change of the load and pressure.

An upper electrode 3 is provided on an upper substrate 1. A lower electrode 4 is provided on a lower substrate 2. Pressure sensitive layers 9, 7 are provided on the upper electrode 3 and the lower electrode 4. A total thickness of the pressure sensitive layers 9, 7 is 10-100 μm. Or the thick pressure sensitive layer having a thickness of 5-50 μm is formed on one of the electrodes. The pressure sensitive layer is preferably used and formed by screen printing of a pressure sensitive paste including conductive particles such as carbon black, etc., spherical elastic particles having an average particle diameter of 2-50 μm and a binder such as a polyester resin, etc., and has average surface roughness of 0.1-3 μm, a peak of a surface unevenness period of 10-1,000 μm and degree of elasticity of 800-8,000 MPa.
