Title:
PRESSURE SENSITIVE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005024385
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a pressure sensitive sensor that has a simple configuration at the tip section, can reduce an insensitive region, can also reduce the outer diameter of the tip section, and can detect the disconnection and short-circuiting of the pressure sensitive sensor.

A plurality of lead wires 10, 11 that are insulated and covered in the pressure sensitive sensor 1 are laminated and formed in a cable shape, and the lead wire 11 is connected to a center electrode 2 at the tip section S and the lead wire 10 is connected to an outer electrode 4. Accordingly, for example, when the pressure sensitive sensor 1 is connected to an external circuit 12 and a third resistor 15 is connected between the lead wires 10, 11 on the external circuit 12, a circuit that is equivalent to a circuit for detecting disconnection and short-circuiting can be formed by a conventional pressure sensitive sensor, the disconnection and short-circuiting of each electrode can be detected, the configuration of the tip section is simplified, the insensitive region can also be reduced, and detection performance is improved. Concretely speaking, the problems wherein the configuration was complex and the insensitive region existed by the dimensions of a sensor side resistor 6 since the sensor side resistor 6 is connected to the tip section S in a conventional pressure sensitive sensor can be solved.
