Title:
PRESSURE SENSITIVE TYPE FOREIGN MATTER DETECTING ELEMENT IN DEVICE TO PREVENT SANDWICHING FOREIGN MATTER IN WINDOW OF AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1136702
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To maintain reliability in a long-term use by bringing a sloped sliding surface of a conductive electrode into contact with another electrode.

This pressure sensitive type foreign matter detecting element 1 is placed at an inner peripheral portion at an entrance to a car body where a door is provided, if a foreign matter is clamped between the element and an upper edge portion of a window glass which is automatically opened or closed, the element is compressed by a pushing force from the foreign matter, its an electrode member 25 at the moving side is pushed to an electrode member 23 at the fixed side, both the electrode members 23, 25 become electrically conductive, and the clamping is detected. At that time, both the slide-contact members 23a, 25a sloped diagonally with the moving direction of the electrode member 25 at the moving side can be slid each other, so that an insulating layer due to oxidation or dirt on the surfaces are scraped off thereby assuring reliable electric conduction.
