Title:
PRESSURE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3217247
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the response to pressure variation by connecting a slider with a return spring having one end connected with an external take-out terminal and bringing the slider into contact only with one resistor thereby suppressing the contact pressure and reducing the frictional resistance.
SOLUTION: A conductive return spring 52 for urging the slider 58 of a variable resistor means 5 for electrically taking out the displacement of a diaphragm 3 constantly toward the diaphragm 3 side is connected electrically with the terminal of slider 58. A negative pressure is measured by taking out the voltage between any one of the terminals 63, 64 of a resistor 62 and the terminal of slider 58 led out from the other end of spring 52. Since the slider 58 is required to come into contact only with one resistor 62, frictional resistance due to sliding can be reduced and the contact pressure can be suppressed. Consequently, response to pressure variation can be enhanced.
