Abstract:
The pressure sensor has a flexible tube (14) for a fluid. Two support bodies (10,11) deform the cross-section of the tube. A force sensor (19) reacts to the internal pressure in the tube. At least one of the support bodies contains a force-transmitting device, such as an elongate rib (17), that extends over less than 25% of the inside width of the tube, and is movable relative to the support body. One end of the force-transmitting device presses against the tube, and the other presses against the force sensor.
