Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sore preventing method having a small burden on a recuperating patient on a bed and affording sleeping comfortableness and a sound sleep, and a method capable of preventing a pressure sore by neither performing a voluntary change of a body position by a person lying on a bed nor asking the hand of a caretaker.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for preventing a pressure sore by dividing at least a portion of the surface of a bed 1, on which a person 3 rides, into blocks 4 of A group and blocks 5 of B group and by moving the blocks vertically. The method comprises the steps of: arranging the top surfaces of blocks of A group and the top surfaces of blocks of B group alternately at upper positions; and supporting a person on the bed by the top surfaces of the blocks of the A group and by the top surfaces of the blocks of the B group.
