To provide a pressure suppressing device for liquefied chlorofluorocarbon, which recovers chlorofluorocarbon with high efficiency by suppressing the pressure of the liquefied chlorofluorocarbon, and is easily handled.

The pressure suppressing device for liquefied chlorofluorocarbon includes: a pipe 12 through which the liquefied chlorofluorocarbon is made to pass and which is made of copper; and dry ice 24. A winding part 16 constituted by spirally winding a plurality of times from a lower end toward an upper end is formed between a liquefied chlorofluorocarbon introducing part 18 and a liquefied chlorofluorocarbon leading out part 20 of the pipe 12. Downward inclination is formed from the upper end toward the lower end on the inner face of the winding part 16, and portions of the pipe 12 vertically arranged in the winding part 16 are brought into close contact with each other. A space occupation member 22 constituted of a cylindrical body is arranged on the inner side of the winding part 16, a space between the inner face of the winding part 16 and the space occupation member 22, is filled with a large number of blocks of dry ice 24, and the dry ice 24 is brought into close contact with the winding part 16 of the pipe 12.
