PURPOSE: To make the pressure switch small in size by eliminating coil springs occupying spaces, eliminate contact resistance and defective contact by letting an electrical contact section be in air with communication interrupted between a load pressure introducing path and the electrical contact section, prevent the occurrence of defective operations and rattling by guiding a spool operated by load pressure, and concurrently facilitate the exchange and inspection of the whole of the pressure switch.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding hole 4 communicated with a pressure introducing hole 2 and a switch chamber 10 connected to the sliding hole 4 are formed in a switch housing 3, a spool 5 which is operated upon receiving load pressure, is disposed in the sliding hole 4, and a connector 15 is provided for the switch chamber 10. An electrical insulator 16 is installed integrally with the connector 15, and a seat member 18 and a disc spring 19 are interposed between the sliding hole 4 and the switch chamber 10.
