Abstract:

To provide a pressure test method for piping in a steam turbine plant for easily conducting a hydraulic test by eliminating requirement of vent piping extended to a drain groove to drain pressure water in the hydraulic test for a piping system.

On conducting piping work of the steam turbine plant, a vent valve 3 and a plug 10 are provided for the vent piping 2 connected to steam piping 1 for which the pressure test is conducted. A drain device 9 for draining the pressured water of the hydraulic test is installed on conducting the pressure test. The drain device 9 is provided with a hose 5 for draining the pressure water from an end side to the drain groove 6 and a socket 20 attachable to and detachable from the plug 10 which is arranged at another end side of the hose 5. The drain device 9 is detached after finishing the hydraulic test.
