Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-type writing instrument which pressurizes ink by a pushing operation during a push, which can easily pressurize the ink within a refill by the pushing operation, and which prevents the inside of the refill from being put into a state of negative pressure lower than atmospheric pressure, when pressurization is released.SOLUTION: A pressure-type writing instrument includes a pressure mechanism that comprises a piston part and a cylinder-like member making the piston part slide on an inner peripheral surface. In the piston part, an outer peripheral part brought into sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder-like member can be structurally and elastically deformed. Air within the cylinder-like member is pressurized by moving the piston part within the cylinder-like member by a pushing operation during a push, and the pressurized air is supplied to a refill to pressurize ink.
