Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operational method where strong squeezing force is applied when squeezing water in a squeezing tank is supplied to a diaphragm, electric power consumption during application is reduced and a compressed gas in the squeezing tank is effectively utilized after finishing a squeezing step.SOLUTION: A pressure dehydration apparatus comprises: a plurality of filter plates arranged in parallel; a filter cloth located in a filtering room; a diaphragm to squeeze a filter cake; a squeezing liquid storage tank 10 to store a squeezing liquid; a cushion tank 6 connected to a supply line supplying the squeezing liquid from the squeezing liquid storage tank to the diaphragm; a squeezing liquid pump 9 to perform any one operation that the squeezing liquid in the squeezing liquid storage tank is supplied to both the diaphragm and the cushion tank and is supplied only to the cushion tank except the diaphragm; and a controlling device 21 to supply the squeezing liquid to the diaphragm with pressure in the cushion tank stopping the operation of the squeezing liquid pump at a stage that pressure is increased to a predetermined value by increasing the quantity of the squeezing liquid in the cushion tank.
