To provide an annular pressurized metal seal including a central annular part and a set of annular leg parts extended from the central part.

The respective leg parts include a sealing projecting surface on a sealing surface. Preferably one leg part includes an annular flange axially offset from its sealing surface to the sealing surface of the other leg part. Preferably one leg part includes at least one radially extending tab further projected from the adjacent part of the seal. Preferably the seal is manufactured by a method including a first cutting step of cutting out a first annular edge part in a metal sheet material; a bending step of subsequently bending the sheet material substantially in the shape of the seal; and a second cutting step of further subsequently cutting out a second annular edge part to complete the shape of the seal. Preferably the second annular edge part constitutes the annular flange and/or at least one tab.
