PURPOSE: To lengthen time limit of the extinction of Mg in molten metal, to restrain the production of MgO slag, to enable automatic pouring of the molten metal, to enable change of the molten metal and to simplify the removal of slag.
CONSTITUTION: A pressurizing type molten metal pouring furnace 1 is composed of a molten metal discharging chamber 4 of a molten metal discharging passage 3 starting from the bottom part 2a of a molten metal chamber 2, a molten metal pouring hole 5 in the molten metal discharging chamber 4, a molten metal receiving chamber 7 of a molten metal receiving passage 6 rising from the bottom part 2a, a channel inductor 8 and a pressurizing gas control unit 11. A stopper 12 is arranged in the molten metal pouring hole 5, and the channel inductor 8 is directed at 45-90° downward from the horizontal plane, and inert gas is used. A motive power tilting device 14 of a hydraulic cylinder, etc., for quickly tilting the furnace 1 fitted to a frame body 13 is arranged. The channel inductor 8 gives the molten metal 10 heat sufficient to raise the temp. of the molten metal 10. The molten metal discharging chamber 4 and the molten metal receiving chamber 7 are made to be freely fittable/separatable with use of flanges 16a, 16b, respectively. The inner diameter of a gas introducing pipe 9 is made to be ≥50mm, and a filter 17 is fitted to the pressurizing gas control unit 11.
