To provide a prestressed concrete pole which can prevent an axially placed steel member from sliding relative to concrete when introducing prestress.
The prestressed concrete pole is provided with at least a concrete pole body 2 and the axially placed steel member 11 arranged along the axial direction. At least one of the end parts (1A, 1B) of the concrete pole body 2 is provided with a helical member 31 which is buried in the concrete pole body 2 in such a state that it is engaged with and provided on the outer periphery of the axially placed steel member 11. When prestress is introduced to the concrete pole body 2 by applying and relaxing tension in the tensile direction to the axially placed steel member 11, the relative sliding between the axially placed steel member 11 and the concrete pole body 2 can be controlled by the helical member 31.
