Abstract:
PURPOSE: To check the lowering, being due to periodic disturbance mixed with detected value, of the accuracy of presumption by selectively correcting the detected value and a presumed value in a device for presuming the tire air pressure of a wheel on the detected value of the rotating speed of the wheel.
CONSTITUTION: In a rim side part rotating speed computing and correcting section 45, the detected value of rotating speed is corrected by utilizing the periodicity of periodic disturbance, and the periodic disturbance mixed with the detected value is thereby removed and on the other hand, until the completion of the correction, the presumed value obtained through a disturbance observer 52 or the like is corrected on a car body speed V and the irregularity of a road surface in a presumed value correcting section 60. Thus even for time when the correction made by utilizing the periodicity is not yet completed, the accuracy of the presumed value is ensured.
