To provide a pretreatment agent for permanent waves capable of imparting uniformly straight effect to curly hair while protecting the already damaged part of hair in straight permanent treatment and preventing the part of hair from additionally being damaged in straight permanent treatment.
This pretreatment agent for permanent waves is composed of a mixture prepared by including hydrolyzed collagen, a N-[2- hydroxy-3-(coconut oil alkyldimethylammonio)propyl]hydrolyzed keratin chloride, a N-[2-hydroxy-3-(trimethylammonio)propyl]hydrolyzed keratin chloride, ethylsulfatelanolinfatty acid aminopropylethyldimethylammonium, and a dimethyldiallylammonium chloride/acrylic acid copolymer and/or a dimethyldiallylammonium chloride/acrylic acid/acrylamide terpolymer.
