Title:
PREVENTING DEVICE FOR CHATTERING OF METER RELAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5749809
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent chattering without degrading response of a relay, by imparting hysteresis to a pointer position sensing means of a meter relay.

CONSTITUTION: When the swing of the pointer is small and does not reach a search coil Ha, oscillators 4 and 5 are oscillating. When the swing of the pointer becomes large and a shielding plate shields a search coil Ha, the first oscillator 4 stops the oscillation, a transistor Q3 is turned ON, and a relay RY is operated. As a result, a contact RS is closed, and the first oscillator 4 becomes hard to oscillate. Therfore, the chattering is not generated even though the pointer is stopped at the vicinity of the position where the oscillation is stopped. When the pointer reaches the search coil Hb, a thyristor SCR is triggered, the relay RY is locked, the pointer is lowered than the position of a search coil Ha again, and each contact is closed until the first oscillator begins the oscillation again.
