Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the corrosion of a horizontal surface, by controlling the leakage of working fluid at the coupling surface of a wheel chamber in a steam turbine. CONSTITUTION:A guide groove 20 having a rectangular cross section is formed in a horizontal coupling surface 11 of a wheel chamber 8, and a connecting hole 21 communicated to the guide groove 20 is bored. The connecting hole 21 is coupled to a vent line through a connecting pipe 22.
