Title:
PREVENTION OF ENGINE STOP FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61220941
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the cutting-off shock by cutting-off a frictional clutch at a breath when the engine revolution speed is less than a prescribed engine- stop preventing revolution speed and gradually cutting-off the frictional clutch when the engine revolution speed is in the region a little higher than the preventing revolution speed. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic transmission, a frictional clutch 31 which connects and disconnects the output shaft 30a of an engine 30 and the input shaft 44 of a gear type transmission 32 is operation-controlled by an air cylinder 42, and the gear position of the gear type transmission 32 is switching-controlled by a gear shift unit 51. Such automatic transmission is controlled by a control unit 52 so that the frictional clutch 31 is cut-off at a breath when the engine revolution speed detected by a revolution speed sensor 39 is less than a prescribed low engine-stop preventing revolution speed. Further, when the engine revolution speed is in the region a little higher than the preventing revolution speed, the frictional clutch 31 is controlled to be cut off.
